NPP Supporters Losing Faith In Election Petition Ben Ephson

Pollster Ben Ephson has said majority of the main opposition New Patriotic Party hardcore supporters doubt if the partys election petition has merit to be upheld by the Supreme Court. Presidential Candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, together with his running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the partys National Chairman, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, is challenging the 2012 election results which they claim were rigged. Two stalwarts of the party, Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobby and Kwame Pianim have publicly disagreed with the partys court challenge. Dr. Wereko-Brobby recently described the petitioners key witness, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a clueless and confused person who lacked the practical understanding of what transpired during the elections. Mr. Ephson has told XYZ News post-election works done by him revealed that only a few supporters of the party agree with the decision to challenge the results in court. He said majority of the supporters are losing faith in the partys ability to win the case. Weve been doing some post-election work and from one of the questions, majority of the hardcore NPP are losing faith that the party has a case, he stressed.
