Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye has cautioned Former VRA CEO, Dr Charles Wereko-Brobby to be mindful of the way he has descended on star witness for the petitioners in the ongoing Supreme Court trail; noting that his criticism has left a sour taste in the mouth of most NPP members.
He wondered why a top notch like Dr. Wereko-Brobby who claims to be the nephew of the late Victor Owusu would suddenly turn around to act as the �chief propaganda officer� for the National Democratic Congress.
He observed that even though it was obvious Dr. Brobby is carrying out the current damages on Dr. Bawumia for a reward from the NDC, he should opt to do the right thing.
In an interview with Okay FM, Prof Mike Ocquaye revealed that it was really sad when he heard and read the statement which was issued by Dr Charles Wereko-Brobby.
He noted that he wished the statement had never been in the public domain, but his wish never came to pass.
In a sober address to Dr. Wereko-Brobby, Prof Mike Ocquaye advised that �when you are part of a group you must show support in times of need. It is just like building a church, when the time of need arises, those who have their hearts in the church come and carry mortar so that construction would go on faster�.
He further prayed to God to forgive Dr Charles Wereko-Brobby for the posture taken and explained that even if he didn�t like Dr. Bawumia, he couldn�t rip off the spectacular performance he put up at the Supreme Court.
