The National Women's Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita De Soso has sought to find out why the opposition New Patriotic party (NPP) is disturbed by the issue raised by its founding member, Dr. Wereko-Brobbey. According her if the NDC had suspended all its founding members criticizing the party in previous times, then the party would have collapsed by now. �Whiles this criticism was going on in our party, if we (NDC) had suspended those members, then the party would have been dead by now. Every party has its own rules and regulations to penalize it members when they fault but not that harsh,� she said. She however said that Dr. Wereko-Brobbey�s disclosure that the NPP did not prepare adequately before the 2012 elections and must be blamed for their defeat must be taking into consideration since her own observer group attested to some signatures of NPP gurus in the strong room of the Electoral Commission (EC) confirming some presidential results from various constituencies. �I see no reason why the NPP should castigate Dr. Wereko-Brobbey for questioning them why they are court because in his own view he thought they were not prepared,� she said. Speaking on Adom FM, Anita De Soso finds it appalling from the NPP to suspend its founding member without any notification. �In NDC, if you criticized, those who don�t agree with you will lambast you and after when it is necessary for any discipline, we will write to you and the disciplinary committee will call the person in question to hear his or her side of the story before any measure will be taken, but the NPP never gave Dr. Wereko-Brobbey that opportunity,� she asserted.
