Just days after the release of the list of nominated artistes for the maiden edition of BASS AWARDS by organizers, Rackus Productions, the debate as to who wins what on the awards night has started on various entertainment platforms.
2013 Ghana Music Awards New Artiste of the year and Best Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the year winner, Kaakie, has in an exclusive interview revealed that she is optimistic of winning big at the awards night on 6th July 2013.
Commenting on her nominations, she said �I am very excited to have been nominated in the maiden edition of the awards. It goes to prove that the hardwork put in by my team as well as my talent has been acknowledged. It is such a great feeling at the moment�.
On the number of awards she will win on the night, Kaakie said �Being the only female in the game currently, with some of the popular and good tunes, I am very sure of winning BIG at the awards�.
BASS AWARDS comes off at the National Theater in Accra on 6th July 2013 where African Dancehall and Raggae artistes who have done exceptionally well between 2010 and 2012 will be awarded.
This will be preceded by a nominees jam at the Accra Sports Stadium on 5th July 2013 with performances from artistes including Samini, Stonebwoy, Kaakie, Jupiter and several others.
The BASS Awards is organized by Rackus Productions and powered by Bullhaus Entertainment and Solid Multimedia.
