I Am Consulting With My Lawyers To Have NDC Chairman Arrested

The General Secretary of the Peoples National Convention, Bernard Mornah has disclosed that he is in consultation with his lawyers to have chairman of the ruling NDC arrested over his comments of making a definite claim that, the main opposition NPP was behind the recent Makola Number 2 Market fire. Mr. Mornah who was speaking to Hello FM's King Edward Monday morning wondered why the national chairman as at now has not been invited by the police since he seems to know a lot about the recent fire outbreaks in the country. In other jurisdictions you will not wait. [Is it] because he is the national chairman of a political party? He is giving you leading information that could lead to the arrest of the dangers that our nation is facing. What are we waiting for? Politics again? Mr. Mornah wondered. Im worried that all the time we make these pronouncements and walk away, because its easy these days to just get up [and talk], everybody talk, he intimated. He said: Im disturbed because most of us are decent. We want to have politics; we want to do politics; we want to do it decently; we want to talk about the issues and not engage in personal attacks. Its possible the national Chairman has some information. Will the security agencies go pick him up so that he can help with their investigations? That will be nice; It will show some level of professionalism of our security agencies; if it is not,it sends a strong signal that you just dont sit [in] your bedroom and come and make any reckless statement. "However, these days of legality,I did not know that the matter will receive the momentum crescendo it has, so I will consult with my legal team to take counsel as to what to do...that none the less, the police should not be advised as to what to do,they are in the market looking for clues so they have one they should start questioning now,"he added
