Fire has engulfed about three hairdressing salons around the Legon City Campus in Adabraka; a suburb of Accra.
The Ghana National Fire Service is frantically making efforts to put out the fire. According to Citi News, the fire started when a heater was plugged in one of the salons.
Thousands of Ghana cedis and other salon equipments have been lost in the fire.
