Rubbish Claims NPP Supporters Are Behind Market Fires - Anita De Sooso

The National Women's Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita De Sooso has entreated Ghanaians to debunk allegations that the recent arrest of alleged arsonists are members of New Patriotic Party (NPP). She believes that until an official report from the National Security after investigations confirm those arsonists are members of the NPP, it will be unfair for anyone to tag those arrested as NPP faithfuls. On OKAY FMs 'Ade Akye Abia' morning show, host Kwame Nkrumah Tikese told the NDCs Womens Organizer about the alleged arrest of NPP activists by the National Security as the arsonists behind the recent market fires - but she rubbished the allegation saying its fallacious. Those arrested were they clad in NPP attire? Or are they NPP membership card bearers? All these allegations are false, they are not true, and I dont know where this is coming from. All I know is that, these market fires will cease, that is what we are praying for. its very sad how people are losing their properties to the fires. Recently it happened again in Kumasi. This is pathetic. If we have arrested suspects, lets pave the way for investigations and if they (arsonists) are not guilty, we should leave them to go but if found guilty, they should not be harmed but rather use the right channel to prosecute them. We should not politicize this, she advised Government announced the arrest of some persons suspected to be behind the recent fire outbreaks at major market centres in the country some few weeks ago.
