Jordan Ayew Gears Up For Marseille�s Pre-season

The 21-year-old has declared his readiness to face all challenges ahead of the 2013/2014 season. Ghana forward, Jordan Ayew has stated that he is ready for the new campaign starting with Marseille�s pre-season. The 21-year-old ended his summer holidays in Ghana last week in order to join his team for their pre-season activities. "I did not stress myself during the holidays, aside football, I did not do any other activities and I am in shape for the new season," Ayew told Football Mag. "I grew up in football; I still play with my friends in the neighborhood. I will never stop, I will always be playing. This is what I did during the holidays." Ayew helped Marseille to finish 2nd last season and won the player of month twice in the process. The last son of football legend, Abedi Pele will be playing in the Champions League next season alongside his senior brother, Andre Dede Ayew. "During the first week, we know that there is not too much ball. After that, it will change. Hopefully, we will have a very good season like last year and I am also looking forward to joining the Black Stars in September," he added.
