Upper West Region Gets Ten New Doctors

The Ministry of Health is taking steps to address the acute shortage of doctors in the Upper West Region. In this regard, ten new doctors have been posted to the region to augment the strength of the ten existing Ghanaian doctors there. The ten doctors are expected to report for duty before the end of this year. The Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira announced this when he interacted with health professionals at Wa as part of his official visit to the region.
