Chocho Industries Presents Products And Citation To Police Service

Chocho Industries and Company Limited has presented a citation and assorted Chocho products to the Ghana Police Service, congratulating the Service for maintaining peace and order in the country. Director-General/Services, COP James Oppong�Boanu who received the citation and products on behalf of the Service from the CEO of Chocho Industries and Company Limited, Alhaji Mustapha Oti Boateng, said his outfit believes that law enforcement in the current sense is a shared responsibility between the Service and the citizenry. He stressed that his outfit would do what they can to ensure peace and stability at all times. He also pleaded with the general public to assist them in law enforcement. He made this statement on behalf of the IGP, Mohammed Ahmed Alhassan during the presentation of citation and products which is part of the activities marking the 10th anniversary of the company, which started business in June 2003. COP James Oppong �Boanu added that the Ghana Police Service is ready and prepared to enforce the law especially in whatever happens in the verdict of the on-going Election Petition hearing at the Supreme Court. He said the Police Administration is putting in place certain strategies to be able to contain any violence. He further said Ghanaians should be rest assured that his outfit is prepared as law enforcers to team up with the other security agencies to be able to deal with any situation. The presentation was made through the Chocho Foundation, a cooperate Social Responsibilty Wing of the Chocho Industries Company Limited on Friday July 13, 2013 at the Police Headquarters in Accra. It was part of the activities lined up to celebrate Chocho Industries and Company Limited's 10th anniversary with their main theme centering on promoting Peace in the country.
