Hearts of Oak Newly Appointed MD Pledges To Work With Club Supporters

Newly appointed Managing Director of Ghana�s oldest club, Accra Hearts of Oak, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe has pledged to work hand-in-hand with the Club�s Supporters Union (Chapters) during his hegemony as the Director of the club. He believes the task of managing Hearts of Oak is huge so therefore called on other board members of the club to help redeem the image of the club. �The challenge is very big. Hearts of Oak is not a small club. It�s a premier club of Ghana and one of Africa�s best clubs in history with a very rich tradition and pedigree. So obviously the challenge is very huge,� he said. FIFA�s Marketing Consultant Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe was appointed as the Managing Director of Hearts of Oak after a decision was taken by the Board of Directors of the club at a meeting last Thursday. In an interview with PEACE POWER SPORTS on PEACE FM, the ambitious football administrator hailed his appointment as the �momentous� moment of his life and assured to reunite and work with the club supporters. �The most important organ of the club is the Supporters Union (the Chapters), they are very important because if the team will succeed, it will depend on the supporters. They patronage our matches and follow us everywhere to the extent of feeding the players at training grounds. ��These are things that we need to go back to. We will work together and come together as one united body. I have the believe that Hearts of Oak will redeem its image again,� he assured.
