Asomdwee Park To Remain Open To Public After Wreath-Laying Ceremony

In connection with the wreath-laying ceremony in memory of President John Evans Atta Mills which takes place at the Asomdwee Park, Accra today July 24, 3013, invited guests and the general public are kindly requested to take note of the following: -Vehicles with red stickers may park at the Castle, Osu -Cars with pink stickers and vehicles with diplomatic number places will park at a specially designated area along the Marine Drive leading to the rear entrance of Black Star Square. -Both red and pink sticker holders are to note that after 1 pm, there will be no vehicular access on the Castle Drive Road towards the Marine Drive. -The main grounds of the Black Star Square will be available to members of the general public for parking. Police and other security personnel will be on duty to ensure order. -At the Asomdwee Park, there will be specially designated areas in the inner and outer perimeters for members of the general public who wish to observe the ceremony. -Individuals and organizations who wish to lay wreaths and flowers at the tomb of late President Atta Mills are welcome to do so after the main event. The planning Committee would like to entreat all concerned to co-operate with the Police and Security personnel to ensure orderliness during and after the wreath laying ceremony.
