Glo Mobile Ghana has cautioned the public to be wary of certain individuals claiming to be staff of Glo and acting as representatives of the company. A statement signed by Mr Ekow Quarcoo, Head Public Relations Glo Mobile Ghana Limited, and copied to Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Wednesday, said such individuals posted untrue adverts on the internet demanding a fee of GHC100.00 to be paid via rapid transfer from applicants into an Ecobank Account. It cautioned the public to desist from dealing with such individuals, who have not disclosed their identity, because their activities are unauthorized, unlawful and criminal. According to the statement, Glo Mobile Ghana has no E-mail address such as �[email protected]�, adding �neither does the company have anyone named Dr. or Mr. David Coker in its HR Department�. The statement noted that Glo Mobile Ghana have vacancies currently available and have directed all prospective applicants to submit their applications to [email protected]. It assured the public that, the Security Unit of Glo Mobile Ghana will put in more efforts to bring such fraudsters to book and urged all those who had dealings with such individuals to report their experience to the nearest police station.
