Im The godfather Of All Charismatic Churches Duncan-Williams

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams says he is the godfather of the Christian charismatic movement in Ghana. The Presiding Bishop and General Overseer of the Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM) headquartered in the national capital, Accra told his congregation in a recent sermon played back on Radio XYZs Voice of Action Christian programme on Sunday July 28, 2013 that he singularly spawned the Charismatic movement in Ghana. Sermonising about the need for the Clergy to use Gods divinely bestowed gifts for the benefit of others, Archbishop Duncan-Williams said: Whatever gift you have is to profit all of us, adding that: Whatever [gift] I have, is the reason for all the Charismatic Churches in this country. When I came on the scene, there was not one Charismatic Church [in Ghana], he told his congregation. He said: I know them all. It doesnt matter who calls himself who in the Charismatic Church. I was there before they came and they all met me and either they are sons of this house, or they took inspiration from me or I challenged them or encouraged them. According to him, someway somehow, theres nobody on the scene that didnt meet me and they all are on the scene because of my obedience to God. There are scores of Charismatic Churches in Ghana with new ones springing up virtually by the day. Among the tall list are a few prominent ones such as Word Miracle Church International, now rebranded Perez Chapel led by Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare; International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) led by Pastor Mensa Otabil; Royal House Chapel International led by Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah; Light House Chapel International led by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, and Fountain Gate Chapel led by Rev. Eastwood Anaba. Archbishop Duncan-Williams, who has been in Christian ministration for 38 years, says he blazed the trail and laid the foundation for all charismatic Churches worth their salt, as well as all the scores which are virtually unknown.
