TUC Supports Suggestions To Wean Off State Agencies With Capacity To Be Self-financing
The Secretary General of the TUC, Kofi Asamoah, has been explaining what went into the recommendation to wean some government agencies from subvention.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr. Asamoah said the decision is the best, looking at the huge public sector wage bill.
He said the idea is to ensure that state agencies that could be self-financed do not become a burden on the national purse.
