Assemblies of God nationwide have been directed to dedicate the 25th of August to pray for peace before and after the Supreme Court verdict. In a statement signed by the General Superintendent of the Church, Rev Dr Paul Frimpong Manso, it said recent events call for sober reflections and careful adoption of workable mechanisms for peace and tranquility. It notes that the country is at the threshold of a critical bridge of its journey of democratic dispensation but is confident that the country will pass the test. The statement prays that whichever way the Supreme Court verdict goes, it will reflect true justice and fairness.
