The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, has advised the public against strange biblical interpretations and teachings, made ostensibly by religious leaders to mislead and take advantage of people in society. He said the situation where some pastors distort and give all manner of interpretations to the scriptures to dupe ignorant followers needs to end. Otumfuo Osei Tutu said this when he received a copy of the New Testament version Bible that has been translated into Asante-Twi at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
