Tsatsu Has Something Personal Against Justice Anin-Yeboah - GBA Boss

Counsel for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the election petition case, Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata for a while now, has been receiving a lot of flaking following his allegation that Justice Anin-Yeboah is affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and always does their bidding. One would have thought that after a lot of people have condemned his comment and have even urged him to apologise to the judge who was part of the nine justices of the Supreme Court which presided over the election petition case, he (Tsatsu) would do so. However, the renowned lawyer and former law lecturer indicated that he has no apology to render. According to him, his critics should rather engage in an objective analysis of the comments he made. "I think that you need to address the truth in the observations that I made. And I think you need to do it in the context of what all of us observed... lawyer Tsikata said. Speaking on the issue, President of the Greater Accra branch of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), Mr. Frank Davies, slammed him; indicating he is so full of himself. I am not surprised; that is the kind of person we are dealing with, hes so full of himself. I am not the least surprised. Is he trying to say that Justice Anin is the only judge who has been appointed by a sitting government? Is he not aware that there are other judges on the panel that were appointed by the NDC? What is truthful about what he said? Frank questioned on Citi Eyewitness news. Frank Davies added that lawyer Tsikata has lowered the integrity of the bar with his comment and posture, adding: I dont get where Tsatsus logic emanates from. These kinds of comments coming from a senior member of the bar makes me feel sad as the President of the GBA, Greater Accra. He has something personal against Justice Anin Yeboah and he knows it and so at every opportunity, he tries to pick on this hardworking judge of the Supreme Court. Commenting on the same issue and on the same platform, Jake Otanka Obetsebi Lamptey, chairman of the NPP described the former law lecturer as very arrogant. According to him, Mr Tsikata is a very arrogant person. Hes expressed his arrogance consistently everyday throughout proceedings at the courtAs far as he is concerned, hes the only person who knows anything. Hes the only person who is always right and never wrongsaying something like this; it should not be a surpriseIt was totally unnecessary for him to make those comments.
