Church Of Pentecost Holds Bezalel Conference

The men�s ministry of the church of Pentecost Ghana has organized a two-day conference aimed at further equipping Christians to better manage their businesses create more employment avenues and ultimately improve the living conditions of Ghanaians. The conference dubbed Bezalel conference was under the theme �My life, my work, my worship�. Addressing delegates from across the country the chairman of the church of Pentecost Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah noted that among other things the church intends to strengthen its efforts at disciple making from all segments of the population who appear not to have been adequately targeted. These, he added, may include traditional rulers, Chief executive officers, the media and drug addicts. He charged all ministries of the church to review their activities to make them more effective and relevant while stirring the Pentecostal fire to get maximum results. The director of the Pentecost Men�s Ministry Apostle Julius Asante-Ayeh explained that the church does not only lead souls to Jesus Christ, �the word of God also encourages us as Christian leaders to admonish all people to work and earn a living and also contribute positively to the economic development of their nation�, he added. He said the increasing number of youth unemployed should be a source of worry to all hence the need to create a common platform such as the Bezalel conference for networking and afford young and budding entrepreneurs to learn and connect with experienced mentors. Addressing delegates, the executive chairman of the Zoomlion group of companies Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong who is also an elder of the church charged the youth to capitalize on ideas, research and investigate issues explaining that a business does not always necessarily require physical capital to flourish. �It is important to identify available resources and potentials, consult experienced persons and above all seek divine intervention from God in all fields of endeavour� explained Dr. Agyapong. He urged the youth to ensure integrity in their businesses and also acknowledge God at all times adding that God works in mysterious ways and must be appreciated. An elder of the church and CEO of Kama group of companies Dr. Michael Agyekum Addo challenged the delegates to be innovative and creative in their ventures. He also promoted uniqueness amongst the delegates ensure identification and patronage of products and services. He also advocated a change of mindset and the adoption of modern trends to promote businesses.
