National Peace Council Has Killed My Desire For Church - Kennedy Agyapong

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has said people should not assume all those who wear cassocks tell the truth. A typical example according to him is the current leaders who make up the National Peace Council. He personally blasted Rev. Professor Emmanuel Asante, Presiding Bishop, Methodist Church of Ghana by brandishing him as liar and threatened to pull out of the Methodist Church because of his actions. I am a member of the Methodist Church, but I wont go to church anymore, he said. A confused Ken Agyapong didnt understand why the Peace Council couldnt reprimand lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata when he spoke ill about a judge after the final Supreme Court ruling, but singled out certain people when they went wayward according to their standard. In an interview with Okay FM, he revealed that the conduct of the Peace Council could land the country into serious trouble if steps are not taken to correct their mistakes. He ended by describing it as a bogus institution that needs to be flushed out.
