MPs Recalled From Recess

Members of Parliament (MPs) have been recalled from recess to consider a number of issues including the completion of the Job 600. The MP�s are also expected to consider the purchase of two Military aircrafts to equip the Ghana Armed Forces. The recall is scheduled for Monday, 16th September and the MPs will be sitting till the 20th of September. Minority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu who confirmed the recall to Citi News explained that the Military aircrafts when purchased �will be made available not only to Ghanaians and on peace keeping missions but will be made available to the United Nations in General that is the UN peace keeping Missions.� According to him, the House will also deliberate on how to furnish the offices which will be allocated to them in the Job 600 building which needs to be done as soon as possible. Mr. Mensah Bonsu added that �Parliament itself will need to reconfigure the interior of Parliament to accommodate the 275 members�so we are also going to look at that.�
