The Ghana FA has rubbished reports they are in contact with Milovan Rajevac to replace Kwesi Appiah ahead of a potential 2014 World Cup berth in Brazil.
It was claimed in the Ghanaian media over the weekend that the FA had tabled a mouth-watering offer to re-engage the Serbian trainer if the Black Stars secure their place in the South American country.
The reports came despite the fact Ghana already have a coach in the shape of Kwesi Appiah who has guided the team to the play-offs.
Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara has denied the reports insisting they have absolute faith in the ex-Black Stars captain.
�The reports are palpably false. We have not even contemplated on changing our coach,� the former BBC sports Journalist told Asempa FM
�We don�t know where these reports are coming from. The FA has been impressed with his performance. We don�t have any plans to change him.
�We�re focused on qualifying to the World Cup. We want to unite the nation ahead of a simple goal of making it to Brazil.
�We don�t need such stories at this time. The FA is impressed with coach Kwesi Appiah and we believe he will send us to the World Cup.�
Rajevac guided the Black Stars to clinch silver at the 2010 African Cup of Nations but stepped down in the wake of their quarter-final exit from the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
