Two persons are reported dead this morning [Tuesday] on the Tema motorway.
They died in an accident involving an Articulated Truck which fell under a bridge.
Station Officer of the Ashaiman MTTU, Chief Inspector Steven Kojo Tetteh told Citi News the accident occurred at 4 am on Tuesday.
He said the deceased have been deposited at the Police Hospital Morgue.
According to Chief Inspector Kojo, the accident created a traffic jam on that stretch of the Tema motorway.
He said personnel from the National Fire Service and the National Road Safety Commission assisted the police to control the situation.
