1st National Donates To Schools In Kasoa

A fastest growing savings and loans company, First National, has donated one thousand, five hundred (1500) books to some selected schools in Kasoa and the Awutu Senya East Education Directorate in the Central Region. The gesture, which forms part of the company�s social responsibility, took place over the weekend. The beneficiary schools are Jonasu Academy, Bertrace Academy and Awutu Senya East Education Directorate. The items were presented by the Head of Learning and Development at Groupe Nduom (GN,) Makafui Gbediamah. She was accompanied by Head of Administration at FNSL, Francsica Ellonye, and the Branch Manager of FNSL, Kasoa, Seth Amegago. Mrs. Gbediamah said FNSL believes in giving back to society and for that matter they [FNSL] are always ready to give to support communities. She hoped the items will help the pupils study hard to achieve their dreams and that of their schools. �Education is very dear to our hearts so we intend to help in our own small way,� she said. Receiving the first set of five hundred (500) books on behalf of Bertrace Academy, acting proprietor of the school, Ekow Aidoo, said FNSL has been a major service provider in the country and has over the years provided the best to Ghanaians. �We have been doing business with FNSL for some years now, and when it comes to providing loans to support private companies, they are the best,� he said. He thanked the company and pledged that the books will be put to good use and that the pupils appreciate the benevolence. Director of Education at the Awutu Seya East Education Directorate, Ebenezer Oscar Asare, who received the set of 500 books on behalf of the Directorate, thanked FNSL and assured them that the books will be shared among five schools in the area. The last set of 500 books was presented to Jonasu Academy.
