Karbo: President Mahama Should Be VigilantGhanaians Are Suffering

A former National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abayifaa Karbo has called on President John Dramani Mahama to keep a good eye on his appointees, especially those in charge of disbursing state funds. According to him, corruption has fast become a canker in the current administration and there is the need for President Mahama to nib it in the bud. He noted that the presidents inability to fight corruption has not been beneficial to a developing country like Ghana. Speaking on Adom FM, outspoken Karbo urged the government to retrieve monies paid as judgement debts to ISOFOTON and Waterville which the courts have ordered both companies to refund to the country. Ghanaians are in sorrow and fed-up with the NDC Mahama-led administrationWe dont fight corruption with mere words, directives and code of ethics; the president has to make a personal effort in ensuring that he rids this country of corruption. Even if not in totality, at least it must be curtailedWhat is going on in this country is very serious. President Mahama should wake-up from the slumber because Ghanaians are really suffering, he lamented.
