Dont Interpret Edey Bee K3K3 Mantra To Mean Cost Of Living Is Better - NDC Communicator

EDey Bee K3K3was and still is a strong mantra even after the 2012 election campaign. To some, it simply means that the Mahama-led NDC government has made cost of living better for Ghanaians after assuming power. But a member of the communications machinery of the ruling government has kicked against that illusion about the mantra. NDC, during the 2012 election campaign travelled throughout the country with the particular catch-phrase and that with candidate John Mahama, Ghanaians would see much improvement on the Better Ghana Agenda introduced by the late President Mills. Bernard Anim Piesie, speaking on Okay fm averred that people interpret the Edey bee k3k3 mantra to mean that there is better living condition in Ghana, which is not so but rather the mantra came during the 2012 election when we realized that Nana Akufo Addo has used three years to campaign as against the little time left for President Mahama to campaign after the death of the late President Mills. According to the NDC activist, slogan was intended to motivate NDC members and sympathizers that the 2012 election will go well for the party and not to mean that cost of living is better for Ghanaians. Touching on the issue of the economic challenges bedeviling the country, he admitted that times are indeed hard and the cost of living high. He was however not surprised that the opposition NPP is taking advantage of the situation to blame the NDC government for their own incompetence and mismanagement of the economy under former President Kufuor which have nothing to do with the present administrations actions or inactions. I have the assurance of hope that President Mahama will advance the Better Ghana Agenda which was introduced by the late President Mills;measures are being put in place to seal all loopholes which give room for corruption and free hand for the looting brigade in the country, he said.
