Former NDC MP: Stop Discussing Political Issues On Morning ShowsIts Not The Best

Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Adenta constituency, Kojo Adu-Asare wants hosts of radio morning show programmes to ignore discussing political-related issues on their platforms. He prefers that more socio-economic issues that borders on development to be deliberated upon rather than the rackets associated with political issues each morning. Though a regular panel on some radio and television morning shows in the capital, the former NDC MP is of the view that some morning show presenters mislead their listeners mainly because they are not well-informed and well abreast of the issues on the table. Speaking on Asempa FM, the former NDC MP opined that, discussing of political issues should be adjusted to prime time when Ghanaians are less busy. Political issues are getting out of hand in this country. For me, political discussion should be in the evening after work. From 6 Oclock am -10 Oclock am, political discussions on radio, I have always complained and I think its not the best because they (Presenters) rather end up raising high the temperature of the hearts of their listeners, he said.
