Dont Rely Solely On Govt For Development Minister Tells Volta Region

Deputy Volta regional minister, Francis Ganyaglo has advised the indigenes of the region not to solely rely on government to develop the area. According to Mr. Ganyaglo, government would not be able to bring the development they seek to achieve as quickly as they desire, due to other equally important projects it is embarking on in other parts of the country. Speaking at the launch of the Volta Heroes Fund and Awards Scheme, Francis Ganyaglo also said citizens of the Volta region must all contribute their quota in the development of the place. Let us all resolve to work hard because we know that when we do, people watching us will recommend us for recognition and awards. Mr Ganyaglo emphasized the need for the indigenes of the Volta region to come up with a plan to hasten development of the region. He remarked that government is committed to developing infrastructure and creating the enabling environment. He however stated that government could only achieve the aim of creating an enabling environment if there is partnership between political heads in the region and business men and women who want to explore opportunities.
