Stop Complaining...Prez Mahama Tells Ghanaians

President John Mahama says Ghanaians must recognize the many blessings God has bestowed on the country and work together to make Ghana a better place. The President was however confident Ghana will come out of it difficulties in due season just as developed nations like the United States of America and England. He explained that the developed nations also went through such hurdles but later overcame them. The president was speaking at a Thanksgiving Service in his honor at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Accra, Sunday. He said Ghana will soon become a better place if Ghanaians stop complaining and work together to achieve that. Whilst we pray let us look for the opportunities that God is opening for us, and we find that those opportunities change our lives. Gods hand is up for the people of Ghana, and if we only recognize that his hand is up for us and we stop complaining...[if] we join hands together and believe that our country can be a better place, it will be a better place for us. He indicated that while many Ghanaians perceived the country as a failed state, about 40 non Africans were just last week arrested for living here illegally. Where everyone wants to go, they also see that is a large opportunity and want to live here illegally. They see something here that probably we dont see, and it is only when we see what God has done for us that he will continue to bless us. President Mahama asserted: I am an optimist and I believe sincerely that this country, in the next several years, will be a shining star in Africa, I pledged to you selfless leadership.
