Swallow Your Pride And Call For Help - Prez Mahama Told

President John Dramani Mahama has been asked to swallow his pride and call for assistance to manage the economy. Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West constituency, Mrs. Ursula Ekuful, who made the call, said it is evident every sector of the economy is suffering and so the earlier we put all hands on deck the better for all of us. She said on Kokrokoo that the country is in a crisis and so the politics should be put aside. We should put aside pride and think of Ghana because we are heading for doom if we dont say enough is enough According to her, the country has able and competent people who can help in solving the challenges facing the economy. She alluded that government should stop convincing Ghanaians that there is still a Better Ghana because Bitter Ghana is what we are experiencing. We are tired of waiting for a Better Ghanathey should call for help. People are committing suicide, orphanages are overflooded (with children) because of lack of funds, unemployment is on the ascendancy and so on. The question is, where are we heading to as a nation? It is time to put excessive politicization of every issue aside and focus on the development of the country. When it is time for politics, we will do that but now we are in a crisis which needs all hands to be on deck... ...It is high time they (government) call for help, not necessarily foreign hands; for people with the technical knowhow in the country to help in placing the economy back in shape. Lets get the best hands and the best brains to work for the country, Mrs Ekuful suggested.
