GSA Cautions Public Against Patronising Imitated Products

The Ghana Standards Authority has cautioned the public against patronising imitated products on the market. The Authority says it is aware of imitated products such as OMO spelt OMU instead of OMO, NOKIA spelt NOKEA and many others and advised the public to insist on quality and certification marks of the Ghana Standards Authority on products before purchasing them. The Director of Public Affairs at the GSA, Dr. Kofi Amponsah-Bediako told George Asekere that the Authority will deal with people who engage in substandard and imitated products if they are caught.
