Burkinabe Officials For Maidens' Qualifier

Burkinabe officials have been lined up to take charge of the U-17 female national team, Black Maidens� World Cup qualifier against Equatorial Guinea next month. The Maidens who are seeking to pick one of Africa�s three slots for the next year�s World Cup in Costa Rica will host the first leg on November 2, in Accra. Information pieced together by GNA Sports indicates that Mariam Ki will lead her compatriots Mariam Bangagne, Elodine Bielignin and Madeleine Somda for the duel that qualifiers the winner for the global gathering. Liberian Sheba Brown has been penciled as the match commissioner for the game. The return leg is fixed for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on the weekend of November 22-24. Nigeria has already qualified for the competition following South Sudan�s withdrawal. Zambia and South Africa will square in the other qualifier for a place at the finals. The Maidens were third at the last edition in Azerbaijan.
