Mahamas Remarks Presupposes That During Mills Admin, Gear Was In Neutral

A leading member of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) has taken a swipe at President John Mahama and his government, wondering what initiatives they have so far undertaken to salvage the economy. Speaking on Oman FM regarding President Mahama's comments that under his leadership, the bus of his administration is travelling in its "first gear", James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr, a Former CPP National Youth Organizer, also known as Kabila, vowed not to accept the President's remarks in good faith. This is because, according to him, the President has failed to bring hope to the Ghanaian citizenry. Explaining his point, Kabila alluded to some projects the government undertook which could not see the light of the day. Alluding to the rot at the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), Kabila believed there is no money in the SADA fund due to the actions and inactions of the government. Also, he bemoaned the failed infamous STX deal and believed the government's quest to punish the indicted persons in the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneur Agency (GYEEDA) report will be a mirage. President Mahama's remarks, he stated, presuppose that "since the four years that President Mills was elected as Head of State, he did nothing. In fact, it was at neutral. And its now that he is moving his first gear...This government has no respect for anybody.
