Black Stars Are Ready For Cairo Clash - Kwesi Appiah

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says his players are ready to play Egypt in Cairo later this month for the World Cup playoff return leg. There have been reports that some senior players of the Black Stars are unhappy with FIFA's decision to approve the Egyptian capital as a safe venue for the match despite the deteriorating security concerns. Appiah, whose side hold a 6-1 advantage from the first leg, has revealed his troops are not intimidated by the current tension in Cairo and ready to seal qualification. "I called most of the players and informed them about what has taken place immediately after we received the letter from FIFA, and most of them were positive and that should be the spirit," Appiah said. "My team is ready for Egypt and so we are not worried about the match venue for the game. FIFA'S decision is final and so we will have to accept that. "We will go to Egypt and make sure we pick up a decent point from there. We have a solid team that is capable of doing anything against even stronger opponents. "We will qualify to Brazil and Egypt cannot stop us." Ghana will camp in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 11 November to prepare for the match before
