Only An Ignoramus Will Say I Attacked Mahama Because I Harbor Presidential Ambition

When the issue of sifting presidential materials within the National Democratic Congress to have the best pops up for debate, there is absolutely no way pollsters would leave the name of Alban Sumana Kinsford Bagbin out. He has been constantly described as a finer person who could have delivered on the job when given the chance. In his latest attack on government and President Mahama for showing a lackadaisical attitude towards fighting corruption, some have read deeper meanings into it and insinuated that the former Health Minister is preparing the grounds to officially launch himself as the next person to take over as president. But speaking on Okay FM, Mr. Bagbin scoffed at that notion and explained that he has no intention whatsoever to be president after President Mahama has finished serving his term. He explains that he will reject an offer to lead the country as president. He compared those falsely throwing in the allegation that he harbors presidential ambitions to ignoramuses that werent on top of issues. A seasoned politician who has been in the game before President Mahama stepped in, he noted that traditionally when your younger brother becomes a chief, the eldest brother of the chief is denied the opportunity to become the next king. He adds that he played an instrumental role in nurturing the presidential ambition of President Mahama and doesnt intend to turn against him. He again discounted that notion by pointing out that he currently knows where the nations heart beat stands and knows for certain that Ghanaians would want to give leaders from the other tribes an opportunity to lead the nation.
