Let's Not Wash Our Dirty Linen In Public - NDC Regional Chairmen Caucus

The Regional Chairmen Caucus of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Parliament has come to the defense of President Mahama and his administration by appealing to the both party members and those in authority to desist from speaking about party issues in the media. Convener of the NDC Regional Chairmen Caucus Hon. Adu Yeboah said: we are not just appealing to only the ordinary party members. We are also appealing to those in authority within the party. And we are saying that we have laid down rules and regulations If there are issues concerning the party, we know where to address them but we should not use inappropriate media to address our legitimate concerns otherwise they will cease to be legitimate. Some leading members of governing party, Hon. Alban Bagbin and Mr. Martin Amidu have over the past few weeks questioned the Presidents ability to fight corruption in government. But in a communiqu signed by Hon. Adu Yeboah, he indicated that some of the developments and concerns on the political front with respect to the NDC "do not augur well for the development and fortunes of the party. Speaking on Eyewitness News Mr. Yeboah explained that the communiqu was to assure the President of their commitment and support for him, an unaligned continuous loyalty, to ask all those who have chosen to use the media from within the party to address issues concerning the party, to bring that to an end and also to entreat the rank and file of the party to remain steadfast, committed and dedicated to what we have been given power to do for the good people of Ghana.
