Ghanaian Trio Kwarasey, Nuhu and Nana Boateng Win Historic Norwegian Title

Ghanaian trio Adam Kwarasey, Razak Nuhu and Bismark Adjei-Boateng have won the Norwegian League title as their club Stromsgodset finish the season as league leaders. Stromsgodset had to win their final day game against Haugesund to lift the title. Second-placed Stromsgodset, who were a point behind the leaders with 59 points, won 3-0 at Lillestrm but that could not help them to beat Stroms to the title. They were in commanding shape at the Marienlyst Stadion as they posted a 4-0 win over Haugesund to maintain a firmly grip on the title. Ghana second-choice keeper Adam Kwarasey manned the post for the Drammen-based side as they recorded an emphatic win to mark a triumphant evening. Defender Razak Nuhu gatecrashed the first team squad for weeks and warmed the bench as he failed to make an appearance in the game. Nana Boateng was not in the Stromsgodset team. Kwarasey kept a 100% appearance record as he made 30 appearances out of 30 games. Bismark Adjei-Boateng scored 7 times in 17 appearances and played a crucial role in the game. This is Stromsgodsets second title in the clubs history and the last time they lifted the trophy was 1970.
