Alhaji Yussif Captain, National Coordinator of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Zongo Caucus, has called on the security agencies and Narcotics Control Board to investigate the anomalies of last year�s Hajj to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Alhaji Captain made the call when the Zongo Caucus visited Alhaji Mahama Hazzacas in Takoradi in the Western Region to welcome him from Saudi Arabia after a year detention by Saudi Authorities during the 2012 Hajj. Alhaji Hazzacas, who was a leader of a flight of pilgrims, was arrested by the Saudi authorities when they noticed there were narcotic drugs in the aircraft. Alhaji Captain said the perpetrators of the crime should be arrested and prosecuted to deter others from committing the offence in future. He asked President John Dramani Mahama to remain focus and stabilise the economy. He said despite the long run challenges face by his administration in the wake of the election petition at the Supreme Court by New Patriotic Party contesting his election as President in the 2012 general election, the NDC has managed to chalk out some successes.
