Ex President Rawlings To Attend Movie Premier For The First Time

For the first time in his life, the first Ex-President of Ghana�s fourth Republic, Jerry John Rawlings, has given his artless words to attend the premier of the much-awaiting movie, �The Masked,� from the stables of Hau of Kadewe. This happens to be his J. J. Rawlings first time of attending a movie premier since Ghanaian film makers intensified the movie premiering vogue in our movie industry some few years now. The movie which is set to be premiered on 29th November, 2013 at the Silverbird Cinemas at 6:30pm, is themed on the deadly disease, HIV/AIDS and its effects on Africa. Nkuli - The Masked is one of the successful Ghanaian movies to treat the issues of HIV/Aids as its theme. Unconfirmed reports say the Ghana AIDS Commission is one of the sponsors of the film. Aside the former President, there are other lined- up celebrities who have confirmed their coming to the premier. In a chat with Kofi Adams, Spokesperson for the former President, J.J Rawlings, he revealed to GhanaState.Com (Mustapha A Inusah) that, the former President�s love for the creative art is very high and deep seated.
