Reports reaching NEAT FM indicates that the Presidential Candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, has earned the title of a grandfather, in addition to the many Ghanaians and the World have bestowed on him.
This came to light after Mr. Anthony Kwabena Abebrese Rau, a self-acclaimed International Human Rights Activist alleged that Nana Addo had undergone heart surgery in the United Kingdom, where he is cooling off after the eight month legal battle in the Supreme Court.
According to a statement issued by Nana Addo before leaving the shores of Ghana, the vacation would be for three months and it is to afford him the time to decide his political future and write a book. Mr. Rau said that NPP flabbearer went under the knife to correct a heart problem.
However, in the bid to let the public know the truth with regards to the health status of Nana Addo, per Mr. Rau�s assertions, Alfred Kwame Larbi, owner of Oxy FM, who is also sojourned in UK, refuted the claims of Anthony Kwabena Abebrese Rau.
��it cannot be true that Nana Addo has undergone surgery because I booked an appointment to meet him last Saturday. He lives in Central London, in his own flat. I went to visit him. He is very well but he has a grandchild�. �As at the time we got the there, his wife was on her way to bring the newborn child home�, Mr. Larbi told NEAT FM.
With this explanation, many have come to the conclusion that, the one assuming Nana Addo had been operated upon may have seen the NPP Presidential Candidate at the hospital visiting his daughter who had just given birth.
