Bagbin And Wife, Part Of Government Delegation That Inspected Defunct STX Project Overseas

Before the dust finally settle on the fictitious STX affordable housing project which was hyped by government, it has come to the fore that the team which represented government at the international front, included a former minister of state and his wife. Hon. Alban Bagbin, a former minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing is reported to have embarked on the official trip with his wife at the expense of a private travel and tour operator. As to how Hon. Bagbins wife joined the team, Mr. Seth Osafo Dankwa, an operator of Sky Resources, a travel and tour firm explains that he has no idea but acted upon orders which he received. According to Mr. Dankwa, his company spent an amount of $143,000 to secure flight tickets for government delegation to visit countries where they had to meet STX officials. But after playing his role to ensure the trip is successful, government has since refused to pay the debt owed him. In an interview with OKAY FM MrD. ankwa stated that he personally visited Hon. Bagbin when he was the minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, but to his surprise, Hon. Bagbin told him in plain language he will not pay for any debt because he has not bought any ticket from him. Aside this effort to retrieve his monies, Mr. Dankwa reveals that he has written several letters to office of the president and the Speaker of Parliament to demand for repayment; but the matter has been treated like a puff of smoke in open air. He appealed to the seat of government to hurriedly do something about the situation since it has led to the collapse of his travel and tour firm.
