Sole Commissioner Is Bias O.B Amoah

Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwapem South Constituency, Osei Bonsu Amoah says the sole commissioner investigating the payment of judgment debts, Justice Yaw Appau, is bias. According to him, the work of the sole commissioner seeks to equalize failures of the ruling government to that of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Speaking to Citi News, Mr. O. B Amoah further stated that since both parties were involved in the sale of the drill ship, the blame should not be shifted on only one party. NDC did it, NPP did it and mark my words. I have heard him and I will not be surprised if a report comes out and fault these people at the end of the day; NDC did the same thing, NPP did the same thing that is the bottom line, said the MP. Meanwhile, government has described as unfortunate, comments by Hon. O. B Amoah. Speaking to Citi News, a presidential staffer at the flagstaff house, Dr. Clement Apaak said comments by O.B Amoah should be ignored and condemned. He narrowed the issue down to a very colloquial, political interpretation when we know for a fact that several other public officials and entities have appeared before the Sole Commissioner. It can, therefore, not be true that the judgment debt commissioner is bias. It is not fair to say that, it is not helpful to say that, let alone for us to have these types of comments coming from people who are lawyers and who should know better and understand that at the end of the day, what we are seeking to ensure is that we all get answers to very mysterious and sometimes mind boggling questions about the sale of the drill ship, Mr. Apaak maintained.
