THE UPPER West Regional Communication Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the appointment of Hon. Mahmud Khalid as an ambassador.
According to the Communication Team, the appointment of Hon. Khaild is not an honor done him as an individual, but the entire Upper West Region and the NDC party.
They further stated that the appointment would strengthen the core values of peace and unity among members of the NDC party in the region and urged the youth, traditional rulers and the general public to pray for Hon. Khaild to succeed in his duties in the country assigned to him.
The team advised Hon. Khaild to work towards uniting Ghanaians in his assigned country as he did when he was the Regional Minister for the Upper West Region and not to compromise his integrity. They expected him to be fair and firm in the discharge of his duties.
The Communication Team further congratulated all the appointees and nominees of the President who hail from the region and assured the President Mahama of their continuous support in all political programmes.
