Meanwhile counsel for the aggrieved individuals Garry Nimako said his clients are ready to accept offers for out of court settlement. According to him a matter like this ought not to come out in the first place;it ought to have been settled in the party. It's an intra-party matter, but there are certain circumstances where at a point in time the matter becomes so difficult to settle Lawyer Nimako said his clients decided to go to court because of the position people have taken, that is the reason why my client decided to go to court to seek redress. However, this is a matter which I think that it is better solved internally than blowing it out, he concluded. In a related development a High Court in Sunyani has granted an interim injunction to restrain the conduct and supervision of the NPP Polling Station and Electoral Area Coordinators Elections in the Sunyani East Constituency. The order follows a writ filed by two members of the party challenging the procedures been adopted by the National Executive Committee of the party in organizing the elections.
