The PNC has called on government to take realistic steps to ensure proper tax collection, and also widen the tax net. The party also wants workers to increase productivity and help the fight against over invoicing at work places. The 2010 presidential candidate of the PNC, Hassan Ayariga told Radio Ghana�s correspondent that it is unacceptable for foreigners to be allowed to do all manner of business in the country without a clear system to tax them. Mr Ayariga called on MPs to consider slashing their pay for development projects.
