Vickyleaks: Group Wants Atuguba, Adinyira, Akoto-Bamfo & Gbedemah Interdicted

A group calling itself the Crime and Intelligence Network (CIN) has called for the immediate interdiction of four Supreme Court judges, who were part of the nine member panel in the landmark election petition hearing. In a statement signed by the Convener of CIN, John Dawonne, copied to NEAT FM, the group is appealing to the Chief Justice (CJ), Mrs. Theodora Georgina Wood to, as a matter of urgency, interdict four Judges of the apex court of land in order for smooth investigations to be carried out. As an intelligence network, we have listened and analysed all the allegations against the Justices of the Supreme Court before, during and after the Supreme Court verdict. We are well informed on how the four Justices were compromised and how it affected their sense of judgement. We are surprised that those Justices are still at post while they are under investigation. We want Justice Atuguba and his accomplices to do the honourable thing by stepping aside. This communiqu comes on heals of a fact finding committee set up by the C J, to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of claims made by the dismissed deputy Minister of Communications, Victoria Hammah. She was captured on a secretly recorded tape, which was first aired on Me Man Nti, a flagship current affairs program on NEAT 100.9FM, discussing intricacies of government and the role Nana Oye Lithur, the Minister of Gender, Women and Social Protection in securing the Supreme Court verdict in favour of President John Darmani Mahama, whose election as President was being contested. This, subsequently lead to the Victoria Hammahs sacking from the Mahama lead administration, barely 24 hours after the tape was made public courtesy Adakabre Frimpong-Manso. Nonetheless, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) petitioned the CJ to investigate due to what he termed as damning revelations made by, the former Deputy Minister of Communications that the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition delivered by Justice William Atuguba on the 29th of August was influenced by the government of President John Dramani Mahama. Indeed, the Chief Justice of Ghana heeded to the call and empaneled a committee to look into the claims. However, the Crime and Intelligence Network (CIN) wants the four Justices in question precluded from all the activities of the highest court of the land. following the recent vikileaks saga, we the members of Crime and Intelligence Network are calling on the Chief Justice to interdict the underlisted Supreme Court Justices with an immediate effect for a smooth investigation to be carried out by the Committee set up by Her Ladyship Mrs. Theodora Georgina Wood. The four Justices are; 1. Justice Atuguba 2. Justice Adinyira 3. Justice Akoto-Bamfo and Justice Gbedemah, the statement read.
