2016 Is NPPs Surest Bet - Sammy Awuku

A CONTENDER for the National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku, has assured that the party will recapture power in 2016 and return Ghana to the path of prosperity. Sammy Awuku says the NPP will not resort to court to win power in 2016, as was the case in 2012, but will win massively in the 2016 elections. We all saw what happened in last years elections; how some few individuals succeeded in changing the destiny of this country, but trust me their days are numbered and they will definitely lose the 2016 elections, he promised. According to him, the call for change has become increasingly loud and that Ghanaians are already yearning for the comeback of the NPP, due to failure of the NDC administration. He said evidence from the Supreme Court had proved beyond reasonable doubt that if the elections had been free and fair, devoid of manipulations, the outcome would have been different. The NPP Youth Organizer aspirant said the party had learnt enough lessons and would adopt comprehensive measures to prevent the NDC from manipulating the outcome of the elections. According to him, it was for this reason that he had decided to contest the Youth Organizer position to enable him mobilize the youth at every nook and cranny of this country to defend the party. He said the chances of the party to recapture power lies in the hands of the youth, stressing that every plan and strategy without the active participation of the youth would amount to nothing. The aspirant pledged that if elected, he would revive all the various youth wings within the party and enhance them with the capacity to rally support for the party at the grassroots levels.
