The Royal occupant of the Golden stool, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll has disclosed that he will continue to give his unflinching support to business-minded people who have interest in doing business in the Region and the country as a whole. According to him, businesses is the backbone of every economy so will do everything possible in his power to support the country Businesses when given the needed support and attention by every country thrives which then creates employment for the millions of unemployed youth in the country thereby boosting the economy. Otumfuo disclosed this to UTV NEWS at the official opening of Melcom's 4th branch in the Ashanti Region. He applauded management and staff of Melcom for their commitment and dedication to do business in the country. Workers were not left out as he admonished them to be dedicated and committed to duty. The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Eric Opoku who was represented by the Deputy Ashanti Regional Coordinating Director, Mad. Vida Achiaa Yeboah appealed to Melcom Group of Companies not to forfeit their tax obligations as they are used to develop the country for the benefit of all.
