Theft: Prophet Wanted [PHOTO]

The police administration has mounted a manhunt for Prophet David Bamfo of the Revival Fire Prophetic Chapel in Accra for his involvement in a missing 1,600 bags of rice. The prophet is alleged to have conspired with two others to steal the rice valued at GH?64,000. The said event happened on March 25 this year, after which the prophet bolted. Police sources told The Finder that a business woman (name withheld) contracted one Nana Yaw, a transporter, to convey the rice from Tema to Tarkwa in the Western Region. Nana Yaw conspired with his assistant, Isaac Asamoah, to divert the rice to a warehouse at Dome Pillar 2 belonging to Prophet Bamfo. Nana Yaw, Isaac Asamoah and Prophet Bamfo teamed up, sold the rice and shared the proceeds. Police have arrested Nana Yaw and Isaac Asamoah, who mentioned Prophet Bamfo as an accomplice. Prophet Bamfo is fair in complexion, well built, aged 40 and is five feet eight inches tall. He hails from Ayiase, Twifo Praso in the Central Region. He is believed to be hiding in Cape Coast and Dunkwa-on-Offin in the Central Region.
