Ghana midfielder Michael Essien will not travel with the Chelsea team to Arsenal for their Premier League game on Monday night due to suspension. The 31-year-old has picked cards in all his games for Jose Mourinho's men this season and he has been automatically ruled out of the clash at the Emirates Stadium. The Black Stars midfielder who was regular for Chelsea has fallen down the perking order at Stamford Bridge as manager Jose Mourinho has preferred to play relative younger players in his midfield with age fast catching up on his loyal Ghanaian lieutenant. Many Chelsea fans have criticised Mourinho for benching Essien regularly from the Chelsea squad.
